What kind of moral is this?<br />Furthermore she got too high a dose of misoprostol for the gestational age, see the graph on risk of rupture in relation to gestational age and dose at: www.misoprostol.org <br /><br />Inducing labor/uterine contractions with misoprostol alone in a situation where the cervix is closed is like forcing through a closed door head first: it is not very effective, painful and risky.<br />That is why everyone first opens a door before going through it. Not so in abortion care.<br />Giving mifepristone first opens the cervix without effective contractions, therefore pain free.
